In the heart of Paris's 8th arrondissement, Tio, a Mexican restaurant, offers a new take on Latin American street food. Thought of as a true destination, the space is designed to offer different tasting experiences: the main room, inspired by the warm ambiance of seaside settings, is adorned with a ceiling made of wood, straw, and stretched fabric, through which various lighting scenarios transition from lunch to dinner. Immersion can be experienced on the light polished concrete benches for shared meals at custom-made tables, subtly referencing the brand's identity, surrounded by lush vegetation; or at the bar, open to the chef's kitchen for an authentic experience. The floor features bricks that resonate with the energy of haciendas, extending to the bar and leading to a second, more intimate and exclusive room, adorned with a large wicker pendant light around which the space radiates, complemented by wood marquetry and backlit brick.
