The Iris Side Table is born out of a research into the circulation of light. This exceptional piece is composed of a signature stainless steel lace base typical of the Iris Collection which sublimates the solid wood top. The Iris Side Table was selected in 2017 to be presented at the exhibition “Now! Le Off” dedicated to emerging French designers and organised on the occasion of the Paris Design Week
The solid wood top of the Iris coffee table comes from a 150 year old elm tree, whose diameter of over 90 cm makes it a majestic and remarkable tree. Felled in 1975 in the Normandy forest of Calvados, it was stored and dried naturally for 45 years. This exceptional material was then magnified in the hands of our talented woodworker Robin Poupard in his Parisian workshop. The hand-brushed stainless steel legs were crafted in France in the Crealumin workshops. The excellence of the craftsmanship combined with the rarity of the material make this piece a true work of French craftsmanship, produced in a unique edition.
